Safeguarding Children (Child Protection) Training

The aim of the training is to inform individuals of their responsibilities for the safeguarding of children.

Course Curriculum

At the end of the training individuals will:

• Be able to discuss their role & responsibilities in relation to safeguarding
• Be able to identify forms of abuse
• Know how to deal with allegations of abuse
• Have an awareness of how to deal with children & young people
• Have an awareness of the need to carry out person searches appropriately in certain environments.

  Our Clinical Training provides up to date information for clinicians. This will provide continuing professional development (CPD) hours towards revalidation for nurses and midwives.
